What is a HPROJ file?

A .HPROJ file is a HOBOware Project file.

HOBOware Project files with the extension .hproj store customized plot views created using HOBOware Pro (by Onset Computer Corporation). These files are used when you have adjusted how your logger data is displayed - zooming or panning graphs; choosing which series appear; editing axis or legend properties; using data assistants; or setting colors, labels, or units. Saving to .hproj does not alter the underlying raw data from the logger.

HOBOware Pro writes .hproj files to preserve the exact layout and settings of a plot so that when you reopen it, the plot appears just as you left it, with all customized series, axes, titles, and other visualization details intact. These files are opened using HOBOware via the Open Project command. While the original data content remains in data file formats (e.g. .hobo, .dtf), .hproj wraps around that data plus layout metadata so you can revisit or share your visualization without redoing plot setup steps.

Project files are XML-based; their contents begin with an XML declaration including version and encoding (for example version "1.0" and UTF-8), and include identifiers linking them with Java-based and HOBOware-specific constructs (such as bean and graphing elements) as well as vendor metadata.
