The .h2w is a proprietary file type that can be found in files that contain detailed media storages devices reports. These reports and test results are made after running a test using H2testw.
H2testw program is designed for detecting counterfeit Flash drives. Created by a German programmer, the interface is German in default, but has the option to run in English. It is especially designed to run in Windows versions and it can run under Linux if Wine is installed. Mac users are not able to use the program though.
H2testw is a free and standalone software that can test USB flash disks and hard drives and report whether they have any problems currently, as well as detect fake flash disks. The program contains no viruses, trojans, etc. and has no 3rd-paty advertised software in it either. It is extremely useful in identifying drivers that need updates and assistance. Reports with a file extension .h2w are generated once the testing is done.
Unfortunately we have not received enough suggestions for software that can open H2W files yet.
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about the H2W file format or software that uses files with the H2W suffix, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
