The .gsd file extension is used for a device configuration file format, which was developed by Panoramix Services. These GSD files are also known as generic station description files, which are used by the ProfinetCommander software.These GSD files are encoded in XML format, and the data stored in a .gsd file includes hardware device profiles that can be imported to the ProfinetCommander software. This is a Windows application that is designed by Panoramix Services. This tool provides diagnostics and testing functions to IT administrators, network engineers and product development specialists. This software is used for testing device I/O components and other relevant hardware tools that are connected to a PROFINET network.It's best to leave these .gsd files alone. This is to ensure that the ProfinetCommander software can continue to run properly.
