Important: Different programs may use files with the GMA file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your GMA file is, you may need to try a few different programs.

All known file formats using extension .GMA
While Garry's Mod Add-on File is a popular type of GMA-file, we know of 2 different uses of the .GMA file extension. Different software may use files with the same extension for different types of data.
The .gma file extension is used for a proprietary data file format, which was developed by Sharp Electronics Corporation, a popular manufacturer of electronic appliances. These GMA files are used by Sharp Advanced Presentation Software (S.A.P.S.), an application that is bundled with certain Sharp LCD projectors.
Also known as SAPS data files, these .gma files provide the necessary code and resources to this software, in order for users to use the configuration options, settings, and various tools that are available in this program.
