Are you having problems opening a GGB file or just wondering what they contain? We explain what these files are used for and show you software that we know can open or otherwise handle your files.
What is a GGB file?
A .GGB file is a GeoGebra Worksheet file.
The .ggb file extension is used for a data file format that was developed by the GeoGebra Team for one of their software products. Known as GeoGebra document files, the GGB file format is used for the default document output file of the GeoGebra educational software.
These GGB files contain mathematical formulas, equations, statistics, and text that have been entered and saved in the GeoGebra software. In addition, they may also store metadata details like project properties, file creation information, etc.
A GGB file may also contain content formatting attributes and multimedia objects like graphs. As far as we know, only the GeoGebra software can be used to open and edit the content of a .ggb file. This software can also be used to create these GGB documents.
