How to open G3D files
Important: Different programs may use files with the G3D file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your G3D file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested four different G3D openers which you will find listed below.

While GenDesigner Data Base is a popular type of G3D-file, we know of 3 different uses of the .G3D file extension. Different software may use files with the same extension for different types of data.
Glest 3D Model
We know that one G3D format is Glest 3D Model. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
GOM 3D Data
We know that one G3D format is GOM 3D Data. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
