What are FTC files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a FTC file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your FTC files.
What is a FTC file?
FTC files have multiple uses, and FluxTime Clip is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
FluxTime Clip
These FTC files contain the clips created FluxTime Studio, a software used to create your own animations.
You can create animations, save them to your webspace, work with other animators, and then show it off to others.
How to open FTC files
Important: Different programs may use files with the FTC file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your FTC file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested two different FTC openers which you will find listed below.

While FluxTime Clip is a popular type of FTC-file, we know of 2 different uses of the .FTC file extension. Different software may use files with the same extension for different types of data.
Spectrum Fast Tracker Chiptune
We know that one FTC format is Spectrum Fast Tracker Chiptune. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
