What is a FOL file?
Files that contain the .fol file extension are database files that have been created by the DOS-based Personal Filing System First Choice software program.
The Personal Filing System First Choice software application was used in early versions of the Windows operating system to create flat-file databases. These databases could store and query a variety of data types and could also generate reports for users to reference and distribute.
The FOL files that are created in this format are no longer supported by Microsoft.
The 1st Reader software application also uses the .fol file suffix. These FOL files contain folders or saved message files that have been created within the software program.
