What are ESM files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening an ESM file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your ESM files.
What is an ESM file?
An .ESM file is an Enhanced Simplex Bitmap file.
Enhanced Simplex Bitmap files, with the .esm extension, are used in Atari ST's TMS Cranach Paint/Studio graphics software. These files store detailed bitmap images created or edited within the software. They capture complex image data specific to the Atari ST's graphical capabilities, including pixel-level details and color information.
To work with .esm files, you need software compatible with Atari ST graphics.
