Opening EPF files

Did your computer fail to open an EPF file? We explain what EPF files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your EPF files.

What is an EPF file?

The .epf file extension is used for a graphics file format that was created by Adobe Systems, Inc. These EPF files can usually be found in computers where Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are installed. Also known as EPSF encapsulated postscript image files, these .epf files are associated with graphics files in the EPS format, which is the default format used by Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop for encapsulated postscript image files. These EPF and EPS files contain special postscript details, which provide information to other documents like page numbers, font types and styling parameters that have been used among other formatting options and layout attributes. These .epf and .eps files are incorporated into other multimedia documents that are supported by Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator can be used to open and view the content of these .epf and .eps files. These applications from Adobe Systems, Inc. can also be used to create and edit the content of these EPF and EPS files.

Try a universal file viewer

In addition to the products listed above, I would suggest that you try a universal file viewer like Free File Viewer. It can open over 200 different types of files - and very likely yours too! Download Free File Viewer.
