What are ELI files and how to open them

What is an ELI file?

ELI files have multiple uses, and DipTrace Component is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.

DipTrace Component

These ELI files contain the schematics diagrams of circuit boards created in DipTrace, a software used to create schematic diagrams and printed circuit boards. You have access to 4 different editors: schematic capture editor, PCB layout editor with 3D previews, component editor, and a pattern editor.

How to open ELI files

Important: Different programs may use files with the ELI file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your ELI file is, you may need to try a few different programs.

While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested five different ELI openers which you will find listed below.

We know that one ELI format is ELI 5750 Compressed Archive. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
