What is an EFA file?

The .efa file extension is most commonly associated with the Ensoniq Advanced Sampling Recorder. This digital music production studio was released in the early 90s. The EFA files store the audio files created with the application.

The .efa file extension is also used for Ecrypt 2005 encrypted files.

How to open EFA files

Important: Different programs may use files with the EFA file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your EFA file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
