What is a DUS file?

The .dus file extension is most commonly associated with Readiris Font Dictionary files. These files contain a dictionary of the different fonts that have been installed with the Readiris OCR software application. Readiris is a software program that is used to recognize texts that have been printed in different fonts. The DUS files are normally installed with the software included with a user's scanner. The DUS files contain the dictionary of the fonts and the font descriptions.

How to open DUS files

You will need a program compatible with the specific file you are trying to open, as different programs may use files with file extension DUS for different purposes.
