What are DPR files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a DPR file or just wondering what they contain? We explain what these files are used for and show you software that we know can open or otherwise handle your files.
What is a DPR file?
DPR files have multiple uses, and Delphi Project source is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
Delphi Project source
These DPR files contain the units and forms used in a project created in Delphi, a programming language. You use the code editor to open the DPR file, and it will show you all files and forms (window layouts) associated with the application.
How to open DPR files
Important: Different programs may use files with the DPR file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your DPR file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested ten different DPR openers which you will find listed below.

While Delphi Project source is a popular type of DPR-file, we know of 2 different uses of the .DPR file extension. Different software may use files with the same extension for different types of data.
Klasik Printer Driver
We know that one DPR format is Klasik Printer Driver. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
