What is a DNL file?
A .DNL file is a DNL Digital Publication file.
Files with the .dnl file extension are most commonly associated with eBook files created by the DNAML desktop publishing application. The DNL files contain the navigation information, raw text, and images of an eBook created with the software. In addition, the DNL file format uses DRM protection to prevent users from accessing the eBook on unauthorized devices.
The DNAML software was discontinued years ago.
