What are DMSK files and how to open them

What is a DMSK file?
Files that contain the .dmsk file extension are temporary files that have been created by the DivX Web Player. The DivX Web Player is a media player that allows users to view movies and listen to music on their computers.
The DMSK files that are created by this software are temporary download files that are used for an associated .ddat file until the entire video file has been completely downloaded from the Internet. These files contain video data in the AVI file format.
When a media file download has been completed, the .dmsk file will be renamed with the .avi extension.
How to open DMSK files
Important: Different programs may use files with the DMSK file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your DMSK file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
