What are CTD files and how to open them

What is a CTD file?
CTD files have multiple uses, and CherryTree note is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
CherryTree note
These CTD files contain the notes created in CherryTree, a note creator and manager. You can insert images, write normal notes, and write executable code.
How to open CTD files
Important: Different programs may use files with the CTD file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your CTD file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested four different CTD openers which you will find listed below.

While CherryTree note is a popular type of CTD-file, we know of 2 different uses of the .CTD file extension. Different software may use files with the same extension for different types of data.
Sony ClickToDvd Project
We know that one CTD format is Sony ClickToDvd Project. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
