What is a BCT file?
BCT files have multiple uses, and Adobe Bridge cache is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
Adobe Bridge cache
These BCT files are the files that have been organized using Adobe Bridge, an asset management software. You use keywords, labels, and ratings to organize your adobe files. By using filters and metadata search features, you can easily find your assets.
How to open BCT files
Important: Different programs may use files with the BCT file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your BCT file is, you may need to try a few different programs.

We know that one BCT format is Photoshop Thumbnail Cache. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
