What are ASI files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening an ASI file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your ASI files.
What is an ASI file?
Files that contain the .asi file extension are most commonly associated with the Alpha Five Web application development software. The ASI files that are used by this program store variables that are referenced by the associated application.
The .asi file suffix has also been known to be used for assembly language header files. These language files are used with the Borland Assembler application. They are created by the application when a user uses the Turbo C or Borland C++ programming languages.
The .asi file extension is also associated with ARTstor Image files. The ARTstor program holds a database of various digital images. These images are saved in the software's proprietary ASI file format.
How to open ASI files
Important: Different programs may use files with the ASI file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your ASI file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested two different ASI openers which you will find listed below.
