What is an AFF file?

The .aff file extension is used by a variety of software applications for a broad range of file formats. The .aff file extension is most commonly used by the Mozilla Firefox Internet browser. These AFF files contain dictionary files used by the software for spell check purposes.

The .aff file extension is also used for disk image files, AnyForm files, Affix files, Nvu files, AGEMA files and Acorn vector files.
