What is a _EML file?
The ._eml extension is found in stored messages as an extension similar to .eml extension. The contents of these files are not different to each other if the same messages have been stored in them. The underscore difference between ._eml and .eml is due to the system/ computer/ software bug in Windows Mail Live. The bug causes the extension .eml to appear ._eml. Not only in Windows Mail Live, the "underscore" effect may be present in some other file types. It signifies that some errors, fault or mistakes in programming are present in the program.Windows Mail Live is an email client used to manage and access emails via remote Mail Transfer Agent server for the receipt and storage of the user's emails. The ._eml file extension should not to be confused with .eml extension. The typical .eml extension is a format that stores electronic mail messages information used by many Microsoft- ran messaging applications.
