Eudora

If you are looking for Eudora, you have come to the right place. We explain what Eudora is and point you to the official download.

What is Eudora?

Eudora is an email client for use on both Mac OS X and Windows computers. It allows users to manage their email in various ways, one of which is the ability to link multiple email addresses (referred to as “personalities” on Eudora) to the software so that all emails could be dealt with from a central console and replies could also be made to specific categories of people (e.g. friends, colleagues, business contacts, etc.) with prearranged personalities for every category. It also supports IMAP, SSL, and LDAP services.

The program includes features for analyzing the user’s email activities, scans emails for potential threats such as viruses, and includes advanced filtering options to improve automated sorting of user mail. It has drag and drop capabilities and a built-in dictionary for spell checking. The interface is customizable and users can also make use of color-coding protocol for easy labeling of emails. It is compatible with MS Outlook and can import data from the other program. Furthermore, it includes an anti-phishing filter to protect users from suspicious links. The paid version also incorporates a utility called SpamWatch, which is updated by the developers.
