What is a SCS file?

SimCity Savegame

Files that contain the .scs file extension are most commonly associated with the SimCity computer game.

The SCS files contain saved game files that have been created by the SimCity Societies Destinations or SimCity Societies games. These two software games allow users to build cities and societies, managing the societies and society members.

The programs' SCS files store the saved gameplay progress as the user plays the game. This allows the user to stop playing at any time and then resume the gameplay at the same point in which they left off.
