Opening EFA files

Did your computer fail to open an EFA file? We explain what EFA files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your EFA files.

What is an EFA file?

The .efa file extension is most commonly associated with the Ensoniq Advanced Sampling Recorder. This digital music production studio was released in the early 90s. The EFA files store the audio files created with the application.

The .efa file extension is also used for Ecrypt 2005 encrypted files.

Try a universal file viewer

In addition to the products listed above, I would suggest that you try a universal file viewer like Free File Viewer. It can open over 200 different types of files - and very likely yours too! Download Free File Viewer.
