What is xrecode II?

xrecode II is a platform used to convert and grab audio files which was developed by Eriks Aleksans and released by the company xrecode. The conversion performed is parallel in nature and is executed by using multi-core Central Processing Units.

xrecode II has a pre-integrated Metadata editor that also supports Cover Art. The rooted CUE sheets are also supported by the software and among these are APE, TAK files, and FLAC. It also supports another platform called LossyWay. As an audio grabber, the users can simply the destination format called Merge. Input files as well as CD tracks can be grabbed using the software. It also supports portable mode. Using the software on netbooks is also possible as its user interface is resizable. Importing and exporting external files to and from external sources can also be executed using the file.

xrecode II is also equipped with an option called Replay Gain. It also comes with an audio book that can be used in managing audio files and folders. Searching for specific files is also convenient as the software comes with an advanced search capability. This audio grabber is also compatible with Windows XP, 2000, Vista, and 7.
