What is XMPlay?

XMPlay is software from un4seen developments that installs an audio player on Windows computers. The player is capable of handling a large selection of audio formats, which enables users to play any type of audio file on their Windows PC.

In particular, the player provides support for the following audio files: OGG, UMX, MP1, MP2 and MP3; WMA and WAV, AIFF, MOD, XM, MO3, CDA, S3M and MTM. In addition to specific audio formats, the players is also able to automatically run a variety of audio playlists such as M3U, WAX, ASX and PLS.

The player allows the user to customize settings for each track after which, the presets can be saved so that these will automatically load when the track they are applied to, is played. An audio file manager is also included, in the form of a Library. Here, users can view all of their stored audio files and playlists; and select which ones they want to play.

Also, the player allows for customization of keyboard shortcuts, enabling the user to open any of the player’s tasks through hotkeys. XMPlay is compatible with Windows systems in the 32-bit platform.
