What is Xming-fonts?
Xming is a primary server for Microsoft Windows. This server is a standalone native Windows, meaning it doesn’t need a machine-specific installation or access to the Windows registry. Xming is secure once it is used with SSH. It optionally contains an advanced PuTTY Link SSH client, as well as a PuTTY replacement package. Xming has installers which include executable code, and libraries built by Projeck Xming’s chief developer named Colin Harrison.
Mesa, alongside Microsoft WGL and GLX offers interactive OpenGL three-dimensional and two-dimensional network transparent graphics rendering. Windows is available for graphics cards that support OpenGL. PuTTY is Project Xming’s integrated and ideal X terminal emulator for Microsoft Windows. It replaces any requirement for a burdensome POSIX API compatibility layer, and a simulated directory mount points. Xming has been crossed-compiled on Linux for Microsoft windows. It utilizes MinGW-w64, mostly coming from canonical X.Org source codes with applied patches. It is kept secure and current with updates coming from the official website, XKB, FreeType, Pthreads-Win32, XCB, Mesa, Freedesktop Bugzilla, and PuTTY. The additional installer also gives standard core X fonts, as well as optional Bitstream Vera replacement fonts from DejaVue
