What is WRQ Reflection FTP Client?
The WRQ Reflection FTP Client is a utility for multiple software programs namely the WRQ for IBM, WRQ Reflection for UNIX and OpenVMS, WRQ Reflection NFS Client and WRQ Reflection Security Components. Not only does the WRQ Reflection FTP Client support the aforementioned software programs, it also supports the Unisys, HP 3000 and the AS/400.
This software utility has features such as the autoresume in cases when connections are dropped, the FTP side wizard and Wildcard filters. It also has a drag-and-drop function to facilitate the movement of files from one FTP site to another and it also exports chosen FTP sites and settings for quicker operation and backup to registry files or XMLs.
This utility was created by WRQ, Inc. in 1981 by founders Walker, Richer and Quinn to incorporate the present IT environments with microcomputers. However, in 2004, WRQ announced its purchase by an investment group that also brought its rival company the Attachmate in 2005. Later that year, Attachmate and WRQ merged to become AttachmateWRQ where the company supported both of the company’s products until they could also be merged and replaced.
