What is Wings 3D?
Wings 3D is a software used for 3D modeling and animation with a number of tools for modeling and customization, a support for light and materials, and an easy-to-use interface. The program was written and developed in Erlang and is available as an open source.
The program can work in any Windows operating system with an Open GL. Intel Mac is required for the Mac OS and also an Open GL is required for Ubuntu. The developers recently released the stable version of the program and are available for both 32bit and 64bit. The newer version comes with the Snapshot application where users that are adept in using Wings 3D can do a more complex project.
