WinFF

If you are looking for WinFF, you have come to the right place. We explain what WinFF is and point you to the official download.

What is WinFF?

WinFF is the Windows version of a video converter on Linux. It enables the user to convert video files into several different video formats, including Xvid and WMV. WinFF has a basic GUI with options and functionalities which will help the user select the videos he needs, previsualize them and define the format of the conversion. In addition, there are also other specialized options such as the ability to change the ratio of the conversion, the resolution, or the quality of the audio track. Although WinFF is a fairly stable converter, it does struggle with long names, especially those that have unusual characters. To avoid this problem, users are advised to simplify all the names of the files that they want to convert. Otherwise, they might find that the program simply rejects these files for no apparent reason.

WinFF is a cross platform batch for GUI for FFmpeg. It will convert any audio or video file that FFmpeg will convert. Software includes presets for the most common file conversions with the option to add conversion options supported by FFmpeg to one or more files in the batch.
