WeavePoint

If you are looking for WeavePoint, you have come to the right place. We explain what WeavePoint is and point you to the official download.

What is WeavePoint?

WeavePoint is a software program developed by B.T. Myhre that presents to the user an array of tools and apps, to enable them to create loom patterns for whatever type of loom system. Developed to run in the Windows environment, the software provides the user with a project planner, which is a spreadsheet tool for computing and generating project costs.

The software may be utilized as a personal weaving design program, or it may also be used for teaching students about weaving and weave patterns; as the software uses industry standards and principles in the tools they provide for creating patterns.

The user is given several options for creating patterns. Users may select threading position, and design patterns to weave top to bottom or bottom to top. There are twenty zoom levels provided, to enable the user to get a more focused view of certain areas of the pattern.

A library of threading and twill variations is also provided; plus the option to draw freehand, copy-paste patterns, generate commands through hotkeys, and annotate patterns with text descriptions.
