What is VT STUDIO?
KEYENCE’s VT Studio is a program developed to work with its VT3 Series Touch Panel Displays, which are used with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). The software is essentially intended to facilitate display optimization, as it features all deal with “finishing” the design and layout of the controls or items displayed on the touch panel display.
Users of the software can better adjust such display properties as text size, especially as the program automatically resizes associated elements during such operations as well: for instance, if the user resizes text found on a plate or button in the display, the plate or button will resize as well. Zooming in also results in fewer jagged edges with the software’s Smooth Re-sizing technology, which works to retain curves even after drastic zooming.
An alignment function in the program allows users to see gridlines so that they can position objects more precisely in their display layouts. Preset styles are also available for multiple components, like button shapes and designs, making display customization quicker. The software also makes it possible to change the language on the display by changing its text string.
