What is Visual Watermark?
Visual Watermark is a free utility that permits users to add different types of watermarks to their images for protection. The program is capable of processing multiple images in a single operation and can leverage four-core processing power to make the job faster. Files that can be imported include ones with the GIF, PNG, JPG, TIFF and BMP extensions. Different color profiles are permitted, from CMYK to 8bit, although exported and watermarked files always use the RGB color profile. The program does not delete EXIF data embedded in the photos. It does add copyright metadata, however.
Users can create their own custom watermark images in several ways. They can make use of the over-200 fonts in the program to type out a specific text watermark or they can create watermarks in drawing programs (or simply import existing drawings/logos/images) for use as watermarks—the software can convert any image into a watermark to be superimposed on other images. The program is capable of detecting image sizes in batch processes and scales down or up accordingly. Watermarks can also be created using custom effects, set to tile or center on images, and be rotated if desired.
