Vault

If you are looking for Vault, you have come to the right place. We explain what Vault is and point you to the official download.

What is Vault?

Vault or Autodesk Vault is software that allows Autodesk software users (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Civil 3D) to manage their data, including data for a project still in progress. The software provides members of the design team with a program that will enable them to collaborate from different development environments. The team can share files, use designs stored in the vault for other projects, and keep all product data in a single, multi-user management system.

The program allows for storing both CAD and non-CAD data. It is available in 2 editions: Autodesk Vault Basic and Autodesk Vault Professional. Both the Basic and Professional editions are equipped with the same capabilities previously mentioned. With the Professional version, advanced data management tools are also provided, on top of the basic features.

Advanced data management features include tools for visual data management, management of bill of materials (BOM), which are raw materials and other components used for the development of a product; and integration with several programs and apps such as Microsoft SharePoint, Revit Server, Business System, ERP and Microsoft Outlook.

Vault runs on Windows operating systems.
