TaxCalc
If you are looking for TaxCalc, you have come to the right place. We explain what TaxCalc is and point you to the official download.
What is TaxCalc?
TaxCalc from Acorah Software Products is an accountancy program focusing on the processing and preparation of data for tax returns. There are essentially 3 categories into which iterations of the software fall, two of which are professional. The first professional version is intended for experts and accountants working in a finance- or tax-related field. Another professional version is marketed to Limited Companies and Partnerships. The personal version, finally, is for individuals, trusts, and people under self-employment. All versions run on both Mac and PC systems.
The program works by automating calculations in the tax return preparation process. A feature dubbed “SimpleStep” also turns the official tax return format into a question-and-answer form for users. They are prompted to enter the pertinent figures when needed, then need only sit back and let the software carry out most of the work. From data arrangement and calculation to the Check & Finish feature’s data review, the software takes over tax return preparation while still allowing (and aiding) user review afterwards by highlighting potential errors or discrepancies in entered data.
Buying the program provides users with unlimited support at any time of the day: the developer pledges to answer all emails sent to it within a day of receipt.
