SyncBack
If you are looking for SyncBack, you have come to the right place. We explain what SyncBack is and point you to the official download.
What is SyncBack?
SyncBack is a type of software that allows the user to synchronize and backup files stored on the computer. The software was developed by 2BrightSparks to provide clients with a backup and file synchronization tool that allows them to create backups of their files on an external drive, an optical disc, a different drive or a server.
File synchronization on the other hand, allows users to copy their files in both directions; which means that the files are copied from the source and to a target location and back to the source again. This type of file synchronization is known as two-way file synchronization and is the type that is enabled in the SyncBack software.
There are 3 versions of the software: SyncBack Freeware, which is the free and basic version of the program; SyncBack SE, which includes additional features such as detecting file and folder name case changes, the option to ignore changes, command line parameters for switching monitors off and latest log file for a specific profile; and SyncBack PRO, which includes all features that are found in both the Freeware and SE versions but with additional features as well such as support for Amazon S3, Google Storage, Microsoft Azure, backup emails on a POP3/IMAP4 server, new script functions, and creating spanned backups on several optical discs.
