Speedsoft VSampler is an audio sampling program with the capacity to leverage a user’s PC for polyphonic sampling. It supports drag and drop operation and boasts 255 voice polyphonic capabilities. It has as many as 16 stereo outputs and the same number of multi-timbral parts. Various formats are also accepted by the software, whether for output or input. Output-wise, various types of bits/kHz formats can be generated. Input-wise, formats such as AIFF, ACIDized WAV, EMU, DLS, HALion, Giga, Kontakt, RCY, LM-4, SF2, Akai, REX, Battery, WAV and REX2 are accepted by the application.
This audio sampler naturally has sample editing tools and an auto-looping utility. It has a beat slicing tool, a built-in synth, a modulation matrix, and a tool for managing the soundbank. It also sports several inbuilt audio effects that can help users further manipulate and refine their sample work, from reverbs to delays. Speedsoft VSampler is also equipped with the capacity to host VST extensions or plugins to further expand program functionality. Samples can be previewed automatically with it too.
