Sony Preset Manager
If you are looking for Sony Preset Manager, you have come to the right place. We explain what Sony Preset Manager is and point you to the official download.
What is Sony Preset Manager?
The Sony Preset Manager is a utility that Sony offers as a free downloadable, meant to be used as a preset viewer, editor, exporter, and deletion tool for several of the brand’s products. Examples of Sony products that were meant to be used with the Preset Manager are Sound Forge and ACID.
Using the Sony Preset Manager, a user could open an application’s preloaded preset banks and access them on his computer as modifiable files. While the program could modify the contents of a loaded preset chain, it was not actually a preset creator in itself: users still had to generate their presets through the programs where they intended to use them, such as Sound Forge or ACID. They could then use the Preset Manager to later import those presets for the purpose of modifying them, generating backup copies of them, or even sending them to others who might be interested in seeing their presets. The program could also serve as the viewing solution for the other end of that connection, of course, giving those receiving presets from others a way to open the preset files they have been sent.
