If you are looking for SmartView, you have come to the right place. We explain what SmartView is and point you to the official download.
What is SmartView?
Oracle’s Smart View software is intended to provide an interface for users of its Business Intelligence and Enterprise Performance Management software to manage data through familiar Microsoft Office programs. The program allows users to perform business data analysis in both ad hoc and free form styles and even allows them to import information into their working interface through drag and drop functionalities. Users can integrate their spreadsheet-based tasks from Excel in Smart View. Data from SmartView can be carried over into Microsoft Office programs as well for maximum interoperability and minimized workflow interruption.
Smart View is also equipped with report-producing functionalities, including comparative utilities. It can make use of the Hyperion data entry forms, open Hyperion applications straight from an Office application, allow users to access data from multiple types of sources, integrate into Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Outlook, and supply prepared mini-presentations or primers on company data for end-users when required. In sum, it allows users to distribute, manage, view, edit, and present their data more efficiently by leveraging the power of Office software in conjunction with Oracle’s suite of business programs.
