If you are looking for SmartSync Pro, you have come to the right place. We explain what SmartSync Pro is and point you to the official download.
What is SmartSync Pro?
The SmartSync Pro application is an educational tool that is meant for teachers and educators in order to control the collaboration between students in a classroom networked to each other. SmartSync Pro works on both Windows and Mac OS X platforms, so differing operating systems and devices can be supported. With this tool, a teacher can guide the group effort in the entire classroom, communicate where needed, and provide encouragement and support on an individual’s progress and assignment on the lesson.
With a thin client support for Microsoft’s MultiPoint Server, SmartSync Pro allows a single machine (the teacher’s, in most cases) to support multiple users simultaneously, with each user working independently using only their keyboard and mouse. It also features the SMART Table, an interactive white board system where users can collaborate and communicate on a single location, with screenshot capabilities, which is augmented by multiple screen views that allow an educator to view the screen, remotely, on multiple computers to check on what a student is working on at any given time. Conversely, a teacher can “broadcast” their own screen to the others, which can be used to demonstrate a concept in class.
