What is SkyCaddie Desktop?
The SkyCaddie Desktop software is called CaddieSync. This allows the user to synchronize their SkyCaddie device with the online golf portal of SkyHawke Technologies, SkyGolf. The software is provided for free, and it comes in versions for Mac and Windows.
Basically, what the software does is to allow the user to download courses and save these on their Favorites list or transfer these to their SkyCaddie device. After installation of the software, the user will need to activate their device in order to sync this with their online account. From the Welcome page of the program, the Activate a New SkyCaddie is displayed. Clicking this option will begin the activation process. The Get Connected link will appear which will complete registration and activation.
To download courses, click on the Courses tab on the main window. From the Courses window, a Course Search option is provided. The user will need to input a specific course that they want to download and click Submit in order for the search engine to begin looking for the course. When a course has been added to the Favorites list via the Add to Favorites tab, the user can then tick off the box right before the name of the course to begin transferring this to their device.
