SIMetrix

If you are looking for SIMetrix, you have come to the right place. We explain what SIMetrix is and point you to the official download.

What is SIMetrix?

The Classic edition of SIMetrix is a program designed to help electronics engineers draft their plans by running circuit simulations in a virtual environment. The basic simulation engine that the application uses is a Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis or SPICE engine. SIMetrix Classic can perform analog simulations along with gate-level digital simulations, as well as multiple analytical processes, e.g. Fast Monte Carlo, Multi-step, Safe Operating Area, etc. Users can even run simulations with more complex circuits by using a specially dedicated tool that uses sparse LU factorization algorithms and matrices. The application also has a schematic editing utility as well as a waveform viewing utility.

One of the classic points that SIMetrix Technologies (the developer) have long emphasized in its products is ease-of-use in computer design. As such, the SIMetrix application is suitably user-friendly in its interface and structure, designed for efficiency as well as simplicity. It offers a free demo of the product as a downloadable, although support is only accessible to those who register as users of the program. There are several licensing options for the program, including a portable option.
