What is SecureZIP?

SecureZIP compresses data and provides security through data-centric security solutions. It is helpful in protecting sensitive information within the computer and at the same time using minimal disk space. The software is also compatible with other operating systems such as Mac and Linux and will encrypt data using passphrases and public key infrastructure (PKI).

The amount of disk space used when applying this software is reduced to 90%. This software uses a contingency key on occasions when passphrases are forgotten or lost. Recently, the updated version of this software includes enabling the user to automatically locate and retrieve data stored in other directories. Upgrades such as the SecureZip PartnerLink and SecureZip OpenPGPSupport are developed to further extend the usage of the software. The SecureZIP PartnerLink enables the users to be a business partner and will be to share data to other users that also availed the extension software. The OpenPGPSupport, on the other hand, aims to widen the range of data encryption.

PKWARE, Inc. also recently released the SecureZIP mobile application available for iOS and Android. This is to encourage mobile device users to secure and compress important data easily.
