What is SD-Jukebox?
SD-Jukebox is a Japanese-language utility meant for audio management and playback for SD cards. It allows users to access audio tracks they have stored in their SD cards via their computers and play back the tracks at will. It has a function for playlist creation and editing and also has a feature capable of analyzing tracks and categorizing them into music types or “impressions”. This categorization permits the user to take a specific audio track and ask the program to run through the rest of the tracks on the SD card to discover and retrieve tracks similar to it in order to build a playlist.
Since it also maps track impressions and perceived “liveliness” (partly influenced by tempo), the program is capable of building playlists based on a user-prescribed pattern of song flow: the user may ask it to build a random playlist observing a specific musical pattern in its “impression”, for instance.
The software is compatible with Windows 2000 as well as Windows XP. It supports direct playback for AACs, WMAs and MP3s. It also allows the user to edit the image that represents each track (when album art is turned on in the viewer).
