The SafeNet VPN Client is a program for companies that need a Virtual Private Network or VPN to use with their employees. As with other VPNs, the main market for the program is on businesses that make use of a large number of mobile employees in their workforce. VPN Clients such as the SafeNet one render it possible for those employees to access critical company IT data wherever they may be provided they have Internet access: it does this by extending what is technically a private network (the company’s) over the public Web. But it does this while keeping it private through a mix of authentication and access technologies such as those on SafeNet.
The authentication methods used on the SafeNet VPN Client are not restricted to the usual software tokens and passwords (which are one-time use only to enhance security). Hardware tokens such as USBs and smart cards may be used with the program as well. Furthermore, the program has been designed to support more than one platform, so users can use one version of the software and access the private network without difficulty whether they are using Mac OS X, Windows, or Linux.
Our users primarily use SafeNet VPN Client to open these file types:
File.org aims to be the go-to resource for file type- and related software information. We spend countless hours researching various file formats and software that can open, convert, create or otherwise work with those files.
If you have additional information about which types of files SafeNet VPN Client can process, please do get in touch - we would love hearing from you.
