What is Roxio VideoConvert?
Roxio VideoConvert is software that enables the user to convert their video files from one format to another. The software supports conversion of videos sourced from the Internet, specifically from video-sharing sites like YouTube; as well as videos from CDs, DVDs, camcorders and other portable video/media devices.
The user is provided with a source pane, which is where the video to be converted will be added; and an output pane, which is the format to which the video will be converted. Video conversion requires three general steps: add files to the source pane, choose video output from the output pane and click on the Convert button to start the process. Videos can be converted into formats that are compatible with mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads, Android devices and other portable devices.
Supported input formats include AVI, DV, HDV, DV-AVI, MPEG-1/2/4, DVD, XVID, TiVo, ASF, MOV, WMV, FLV, QuickTime, 3GP, AVC and AVCHD; while the supported output formats include MPEG2, MPEG2-HD, WMV, WMV HD, AVC, MP4 and 3GP.
Roxio VideoConvert is software developed to run on Windows operating systems.
