What is RoboPlus Motion?
A motion is a group of speed data and actuator positions needed for robotic movements. A motion file is needed so robots will be able to move. A good motion file needs to be downloaded for the built robot. A total of 26 Dynamixels can be controlled by the motion player’s controller. So in order to create a motion using RoboPlus Motion, the ID of every Dynamixel needs to be in between 0 and 25.
A motion file is data while a task code file is a type of program. Users need a task code file in order to make their robots move. If the robot’s task code uses motions, then users need to download the motion file too. If there are no motions found in the task code, then the motion file is not needed. Dynamixels can be controlled by both RoboPlus Task and RoboPlus Motion. Once a motion has been executed, the Dynamixel needs to be controlled only by the RoboPlus Motion, and the RoboPlus Task would no longer gain control over the Dynamixel. But this control priority can be modified by its users if they want to.
