Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier
What is Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier?
Roadkill recovers files from disks that have been damaged physically. It allows the user to copy files from disks, with problems such as bad sectors, scratches, or the ones that just give errors when reading data. This program will also attempt to recover any readable piece of a file, and put these pieces together. With this method, a lot of file types can be made usable, even if some parts of the file were not recoverable in the end.
Roadkill can also be used as a daily backup system by using its batch mode functions. Transfers can be saved to a file, and then run from a command line to perform the same group of transfers on a regular basis, without using the GUI interface. This program also supports command line parameters which let the application be run free from schedulers or scripts, so that it can be integrated into daily server tasks. If the user wants to log all of his actions, then all he needs to do is to check the appropriate checkbox. He can also adjust the type of data recovery.
