RISA

If you are looking for RISA, you have come to the right place. We explain what RISA is and point you to the official download.

What is RISA?

RISA is a suite of software programs from RISA Technologies, LLC developed for the structural engineering industry. Each aspect of structural engineering design is provided with a dedicated program. Programs included in the suite are RISA-2D, RISA-3D, RISAFloor, RISAFoundation, RISAConnection, RISAFoot, RISABase, RISASection and RISA CIS/2 Translator.

RISA-2D and RISA-3D provide the user with programs for the analysis and design of 2D beams, frames and trusses; and 3D steel, concrete, aluminum and masonry designs. RISAFloor allows the user to design complete structures like buildings. It also features the RISA-3D software.

RISAFoundation is utilized for the design of structural foundations such as footings, grade beams and mat slabs. The software is integrated with the RISA-3D and RISAFloor programs. RISAConnection is for the design of connections, provided users with tools for generating engineering calculations reports.

RISAFoot meanwhile is utilized for the design of spread footing including offset pedestals; while RISABase is for the design of base plates. It provides the user with selected tools for Biaxial FEA/Design, as well as analyzing stiffeners.

RISA CIS/2 Translator allows for the importation and exportation of steel analysis and designs developed through RISA-2D and RISAFloor.
