If you are looking for QuickConnect, you have come to the right place. We explain what QuickConnect is and point you to the official download.
What is QuickConnect?
The main goal of QuickConnect is to offer its users with a human friendly ID that is easy to remember and log inside some of its services. This includes Cloud Station, DS Cloud, DS Audio, DS Photo, and DS File. QuickConnect is also good for those who don’t want to use obscure router settings, or those who simply don’t want to access their router. By using a QuickConnect ID, the user will still be able to connect and stream their favorite tunes, even when they are not at home. QuickConnect also comes with another advantage. If users regularly utilize their mobile applications, then they can imagine how easy it would be if they can attach both their internal IPs and external IPs into their DiskStation.
This helps avoid removing the connection and having to log in again with an external IP. QuickConnect makes staying connected easier. It can even detect the kind of network environment the user is currently in, and picks the right IP to use them in. QuickConnect is a good and easy service which allows all of its users to host their private clouds easily. It gets rid of the need for a complex network know-how, and at the same time makes their applications easy to use.
